Freeride Big Mountain Program

Freeride, also known as Big Mountain skiing, is the fastest growing form of competitive skiing in the world. Athletes are given the free to pick which ever line they would like on a given venue on the mountain, and then get to ski it however they see fit. Whether or not you choose to compete this program is designed to help athletes progress there skills on the entire mountain.  Go to favorite areas for this squad are chairs 9, 12 and 14, with plenty of various length hikes to access some POW.

USSA AND IFSA MEMBERSHIPS REQUIRED!!

All Athletes need to have current USSA and IFSA memberships.

Champ FREERIDE: Two-day program (Plus Ski PE)

Champ All Mountain program is a competition-based ski/snowboard program. This program is designed for our more competitive athletes looking to take their skiing to the next level.  This group will be coached primarily by our competitive coaches.

Minimum requirement:  Competitive Freeskiing or Freeriding Athlete comfortable in most of Telluride’s “Ex” rated terrain.
USSA, IFSA membership is required.  Not included in program fees.

Saturdays 9:30-3:00, Sunday 9:30-2:00(few hours for family/friend shred)  1st Saturday of December to Last Sunday of March.

Ski-PE Thursdays and Fridays (5 weeks)

Holiday Break Camp

 

  • Program pricing are based on on-snow training days.
  • Travel training and competition coaching have additional expense to cover coach housing/travel. Programs 7th grade+ include dryland Oct – December.
  • All programs include bonus holiday training (check individual discipline calendars for schedules). Travel programs (4th grade+) include cost of coaching for travel training days, competitions*, and for 7th grade+ pre-season dryland training.
  • Additional travel fees apply

This program is designed for non or slightly competitive athletes looking to continue improve their skills on the whole mountain. While competition is not the focus of this group athletes will still get the chance to sample a few local events.

This program will run on Saturdays (and ski PE) from 9:30 to 3 from the second Saturday of December until the third Saturday in March and will also include a few extra days during holiday breaks.
