TEAM ALL MOUNTAIN – RECREATIONAL LEAGUE

Grades 4-12

This program is geared towards skiers who have an interest in skiing the whole mountain, not necessarily with competition in mind but want to continue to learn more skills; be it moguls, steeps, tree, hike-to terrain, jumping, or terrain park, but would rather not focus on any particular skiing discipline. 

Program pricing is based upon on-snow training days. 

All programs include bonus holiday training (check individual discipline calendars for schedules).

Our All mountain Program is for non competitive but strong, all mountain skiers graduating out of the all mountain junior programs or coming over from other areas of the club.    This program is designed to help you develop into a great all mountain skier, taking you all over Telluride’s amazing terrain, but without much emphasis on competing, and without the focused dedication of the full Freeride Program.  

 

This program begins with a one day introductory dryland session in October, and will being on snow training the Second Saturday of December, ending the 3rd Saturday of March.    Programming is offered Saturdays from 9:30-3 and Ski Pe Afternoons.  For grades 7-12

 

Program pricing is based upon on-snow training days. Travel training and competition coaching have additional expenses to cover coaches housing/travel. Programs 7th grade+ include dryland Oct – December.

All programs include bonus holiday training (check individual discipline calendars for schedules). Travel programs (4th grade+) include cost of coaching for travel training days, competitions*, and for 7th grade+ pre-season dryland training.

JUNIORS (Grades 4-6)

USSA MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED!!

All Athletes need to have current USSA Membership, minimum participants level, if your child will be competing they will need a competitors license, and it will be checked.

About the Program

With an emphasis on FUN, members will learn a strong set of skiing fundamentals needed to tackle the most difficult terrain the mountain has to offer. Addition skills including route finding, snow science and how to ski in a group will also be addressed.

Minimum requirement: Ability to ski advanced intermediate runs aggressively.

Program meets: Saturdays 9:30-3:00 from the 2nd Saturday, December through the 2nd Saturday in March. Ski-PE meets on Wednesdays for 5 weeks.
