Registration Information

Our programs focus on youth development through the fundamentals of Alpine ski racing, Freestyle Moguls, Nordic ski racing, Figure Skating, Freeride Big Mountain, Freeski Park & Snowboard competition.

Children may enter our programming at just about any level of our pipeline. Racing and competition are not required but are encouraged, as testing oneself in these arenas helps one learn and grow as an individual. New this year is a recreationally focused All Mountain program.

Early bird pricing is available through the month of September. After that late fees will apply.

ABILITY REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN

TSSC is a competitive, 5 month, multi-day training program ski club for grades 1-12.  Minimum of two years Ski School experience is a required prerequisite to joining.

Ability Requirement for Team Gravity Athletes must be able to ski all the blue runs on the mountain confidently in a parallel turn and load/unload lift without assistance.

Ability Requirement for all other programs athletes must be able to ski black runs on the mountain aggressively. Once athletes have basic skiing skills we coach them in a competitive environment in the discipline of their choice beginning in 4th Grade. 3rd Grade is a transition year, although the athlete will remain in our Gravity program during 3rd grade, coaching becomes more focused toward the discipline the young athletes are leaning toward.

How Club operates:

Club Financials

Less than 50% of the resources required to fund the TSSC mission come from program fees;  annually, the Club must raise about 50% of our operating expenses to keep our programs running.  Please consider donating at registration if your family is able to contribute.

Work Deposit

To ensure the success of its programs, the TSSC requires that parents participate in the Work Deposit Program to assist with TSSC races and fundraising events. Parents with athletes participating in TSSC programs can either commit to work the Work Deposit requirement for their child’s team(s) or elect to pay the Work Deposit requirement at registration at the rate of $500 / family. This involvement is a great way for parents to learn more about ski & snowboard competition while contributing to the success of the Club.
